Wow. 2-5 to start the season, thats rough. Might as call me the Jets. I talk shit and boast about the knowledge, even bet my hard earned sack money, only to fail. Thats a rough weekend. Thankfully, the Giants won and my fantasy football squad won in deciding fashion. In recap:
Raiders at Titans - Titans win, Pick: Titans. I may have picked this one but I guess I could also not get credit for it either cause COME ON its the Raiders. CJ2K all day.
Chargers at Chiefs - Chiefs win, Pick: Chargers. Great game to watch. Phil-bo Rivers is fun to watch but the rest of his team couldn't meet his expectations. Arrow Head stadium was rocking last night and Romeo's defense came to play. Vincent Jackson's absence was felt for the Chargers. It was pouring too and that didn't make it easy on anyone. Came down to the last second but Chargers couldn't get the job done. Props to Adam for picking this as his upset pick and getting it right. Fuck off though!
Falcons at Steelers - Steelers win, Pick: Falcons. Tough game for both teams. If Steelers had Big Rapist it probably would have been an easier game for them but Dennis Dixon managed his game well and kept his squad in the game. Be smart, don't pick against Pittsburgh at home. Never again.
Bengals at Pats - Pats win, Pick: Bengals. Went out on a limb but be smart, don't pick against the Patriots in Foxboro.
Panthers at Gaints - Giants win, Pick: Giants. The tale of two halfs but it's not how you start, its how you finish. Hakeem Nicks and Eli Manning seem to have a nice chemistry going. Excited to see the Manning Bowl next week.
So, I didn't win anything on sportsbooks obviously but I'll give it another shot next week. Props once again to Dbl-A for his 3-2 week but I'm sure he'd much rather a Jet victory. Sorry bro, thats a tough one.
