Great Times Lately If You're A Fan Of The Boys In Pinstripes, More Props To Big Stien

Yankeeland has just been absolutely nuts in the last week and a half or so. It almost feels like the Bombers and Rays have been switching between the top spot in the AL East every fucking night. Not to mention, every game they have played since last week has been nothing short of THRILLING. The only thing better then baseball in September is baseball in October, so this can only mean great showdowns to come with the Postseason literally days around the corner. Easily been one of the tighter contested pennant races in recent years, and I never thought Boston would be nameless in this kinda race. They can go choke on their own dicks though - thats how I roll.

Last night in the Bronx was more then just a baseball moment. It was absolutely bone chilling. Watching past and present Yankees paying homage to one of the greatest sports owners ever was something out of a Hollywood movie. Then again, watching Rivera staring stone cold at Big Stien's memorial was just something that couldn't be written. Those are the kind of moments you never forget as a fan, for the rest of your life. Yanks won for him, Granderson continued to torch AL pitching, and the Bombers added a whole game to their division lead. Scrumtralescent.

So for all you Brah's and Brahettes out there that want to see what looks to be a tear jerking piece of cinema, check out "The House That Stienbrenner Built" on ESPN tonight at 8, which is part of the 30 for 30 documentary series that I might add, has been fantastic. But, if you're wondering why the fuck they would play it the same time as a pivotal division game, no need to stress here. Playing it again at 11:30 on ESPN 2. So don't ever say Dbl-A isn't all about the people first.

Lets - go - Yankees!
