If the Mets could get anything for Perez I'd be surprised. Gil Meche is an upgrade considering he can pitch decent baseball in the AL. The only the problem is: WHY IN THE BLUE HELL WOULD THE ROYALS WANT PEREZ

Adrian Gonzalez is too good and surprisingly doesn't sport a spanish accent. Surprised ? I know I was. They stood firm and didn't trade him this past off season and are reaping the benefits as their pitching has developed faster than expected and has them the 2nd best record in the NL. 2nd best record in the NL !?!?!? 52-37 !?!?!? Where did this come from ???

Pay this man. I don't care how much but PAY HIM. Training camp is in two weeks and as Dbl-A so wisely pointed out "Hard Knocks" starts on HBO August 11th. It will be interest to see how training camp is without him but, it will be more interesting to see how the season is WITH HIM. Send the check Woody.

Wow. I mean he's not at the top of his game anymore at age 40 but I'd expect him to contribute to any team. If he goes to the Red Wings, a perennial Lord Stanley's Cup contender, their team would be deeper than Ava Devine's vaginal cavity. Guy wants his name on the cup. I don't blame him for this move, if he makes it that is.

Kovalchuk is yet to pick a team and could really serve as the experienced game changer the Islanders need to play alongside John Tavares. Islanders have made cap space and a spot on the starting roster for him but no real fan base and no real home. Do the pros out way the cons? Probably not. More misery for my beloved Islanders and fellow fans. LA Kings seem to be the front runner but, the Islanders have offered a fat $100 mill and that is hard to turn down. Party on Garth, sign this mother fucker.
