Last nights lose was tough to watch but I gotta say I love how the Mets offense picked up Brohan after his poor 1st inning. I don't get upset when Johan pitches poorly. The guy dominates everytime out there and always gives it his all so when bad starts pop up, you gotta give the man some slack. With a low pitch count after the 6 run first, I didn't feel out of this game. I had a feeling he would lock it down in the following innings and he did just that, allowing the Mets to chip away at the lead and get themselves back into the game.
Ike Davis continues to show that his testicles are made out of pure titanium and Pagan just won't stop playing die hard baseball. Even Beltran took his cape off in order to hit his first bomb of the season. All good signs folks.
I'll be going to the Mets game today with avid SportsBrah follower Chris Bergman. We've decided to brave the heat and bad weather forecast in order to support the orange and blue. Dickey toes the rubber and I'm pumped to show him the support he has so surely earned. Loved watching his scream expletives as he was removed from the game last Sunday.
I'll be giving a full scouting and wrap-up of the game later when I get back home. So enjoy the matinée game and LETS GO METS,
