Huge series on our hands this weekend Yankee fans. Busting a nut all over Cleveland's face for a 3/4 series win is the equivalent of playing chicks in beer pong. Sure some girls can play, but for the most part you and your boy are gonna cruise to victory. They may hit a few cups, but making the game interesting? I doubt it. After watching the Yanks offense shit on the Indians the last few nights, it was good to see them win in blowout fashion on the road, regardless of the squad. Teams like the Bombers expect wins at home, so anytime Girardi's boys can drop an 11 spot on the road its a boost to know the offense can click even when your not home sweet home. Sorry Met fans, I know this is something that you stress.
But nonetheless, this weekends series in Tampa Bay is going to be CRUCIAL. Hugely important. The Yankees are nursing a 2 game lead in the division on the Rays, and a three game set in their home is going to make for an interesting story line. Whether its home, away, on mars, or whatever, the bottom fucking line is Tampa Bay just doesn't lose. Very balanced team, with sensational starting pitching, and in my opinion a lineup that top to bottom rivals my Yanks. It's real chatter boys and girls. We already knew this was going to be a dogfight until the end with Tampa, but essentially this two team AL-East battle beings today as the playoff race is really starting to heat up. I'm really hoping A-Rod doesn't hit #600 over the weekend because me and my boy Pauly D are potentially going to monday night's home game against Toronto. Bleacher creature? Check!
