TMZ Sports - Former #1 overall NFL draft pick JaMarcus Russell just appeared in an Alabama courtroom this morning where the 6'6" quarterback plead not guilty to illegally possessing codeine syrup ... aka sizzurp.
When discussing the NFL's most infamous draft day busts, no one comes to mind quicker then waste of life former Oakland Raider's quarterback JaMarcus Russell. I mean, he makes Ryan Leaf and Ron Dayne look like hall of fame studs. What a complete asshole. He was the consensus #1 overall pick in 2007 and signed a 61 Million dollar deal with Oakland with 32 of it guaranteed. Before his release from Oakland, there was never a time in during his career with them where he ever showed glimpses of his college days, where he became so highly touted. Rocket arm? You better believe it, but the dude just look so befuddled by NFL defensive schemes. Just looked strait up too shook to compete at the games highest level.
I never expected it to get this bad for Russell though. I mean, I always thought a few assault charges might be in the cards for him. Maybe some grand theft auto, or possibly even some domestic disputes. Pretty standard, really. There's gotta be some way for Russell to blow some of that guaranteed dough that he basically robbed the Raiders of.

Imagine seeing Russell's huge ass frame rocking some white express jeans, a tee with MLK on it, long ass dreads, some ray ban shades and a fedora hat. Boom! Now you're Weezy F. We know Russell's got the funds to cop a fat grill and just throw a nice Styrofoam cup into the mix and he's set. Just hope he can rap better then throwing footballs for gods sake. I wouldn't guarantee any money on it though.
No wonder Russell has looked like such an uncoordinated asshole during his tenure in the NFL. JaMarcus, dont you know that shit makes you retarded?
