Let Coughlin do his job!!

You don't find me much coming on this site and ranting and raving about the Giants a lot because I believe it takes more than a few games to get a good read on how a team will perform all year. Well its been 3 games and now we are already limping into a week 4 prime time game that everyone will predict the Giants to lose miserably so I feel I had to throw some reassurance out there.

Having watched the first three games, I say fair enough. The run game is non existent, the receivers are doing Eli no favors with the amount of balls they tip up for interceptions and the offensive line is putrid. But, like I said, its only week 4.

They are 1-2 people. Redskins 1-2, Cowboys 1-2 and the Eagles are 2-1. Now I was never a wiz in math class but I think its safe to say that nothing has gone to shit yet. Can we cut Coughlin some slack. The fans need to understand that the guy is a Super Bowl Champion NFL Coach. If something is wrong in his locker room, I'm 100% sure hes aware and trying to fix it. The Giants are a storied franchise, he knows he is under the microscope and obviously if the Giants fall short of making the playoffs hes going to get canned but its week fucking 4 people. Let Tom do his job.

Now what I do think, as much as it pains me to say this but, the Eagles have to be the favorite to win the division. They are riding the newly reopened Michael Vick experience as the team is rallying around him and nothing is more dangerous than a team with a truly established identity. The Giants will seriously have their hands full in search of a playoff berth but who said it'd come easy, THIS IS FOOTBALL.

So to all the fans who are ready to give up on the season and call for Coach Coughlin's head, TAKE A GOD DAMN MIDOL. As a fan, you can't do shit about this teams performance. Just let Tom do his job and if he doesn't then just rest assured that Bill Cowher will be the new head coach of the Giants next season.
