Angel Pagan has been nothing but the ill money magnet for the Mets in the first half. His bat has been a consistent source of offense, presently batting .315 for 5th highest in the NL. Without Pagan's shocking consistency, the Mets wouldn't even be able to sniff .500. And the Mets are going to show him the ultimate sign of respect for his contributions and turn him into a platoon player in right. I'm sorry but, I couldn't disagree more. Pagan has me doing the patented "I see angels" arm flap made famous by Disney's BigThree Danny Glover, Tony Danza and Christopher Lloyd.
I guess replacing a bat that has recently gone off, batting .390 with two homers and four RBI with four runs scored and six extra base hits in the month of July, is a recipe for success. Another great managing call by Jerry Manuel. I don't have a problem with Jeff Francoeur, especially that Brett Favre arm he sports in right, shit has runners think twice about ever taking another base. But Pagan's a sparkplug the Mets really need in their lineup. He's been Reyes-lite and we need to realize that. He has been an All-star for the Mets. We can not sit this human !!!
