Jets With A Tremendous OVERTIME Win

Woof. I was so ready to trash my squad on this blog literally just minutes ago. Looked a hell of a lot like last week. Bone head penalties, fumbles, more dropped balls - the lack of attention to detail that can bury you in this league. But what a difference a couple of minutes makes because the Jets just stole one from the Lions and their poor unemployed fans. Talk about kicking a city when they're down.

Let me tell you something about that final drive in regulation. Sanchise staring down a TOUGH Lions D- line, making throws under pressure on the road was something brilliant. The dude had one time out but was finding LT and Keller in the most crucial situations. Those guys are his safety net and they have been doing it all year for the FIRST place New York Jets.

Going for the juggler in OT was on point. Sure everything resets. New clock, refreshed time outs, and a chance to gather your team and settle them down for a drive. What do the Jets do best? Run the fucking football is what. But in this game Sanchise had a rhythm working. He found success slanging the rock in the final minutes and they went right back to it in over time to seal their 6th win.

PS - Jets were starting to feel jealous of the Giants QB hit list. First victim = Matt Stafford. Gonna be smiling all week long now woooooooooooooo.
