Tom, How Does #6's Nuts Taste? Jets Route Pats 28-14 @ Meadowlands

NY Post  - The Jets, after enduring a week of ridicule from the outside world after they flopped in their season opener against the Ravens on Monday night, not only righted their season, but they also got inside the heads of their most hated rivals in the process. “We’re back to being who we think we are,” Rex Ryan said.

If you saw my Week 2 picks, and noticed that I had picked the Pats over my Jets in this week 2 matchup you could definitely say I shit the bed on that one. But hey, I'm not feeling like someone took a dump in my cheerios today because Gang Green out played BeliCHEAT's squad at home in front of the raucous Jet faithful. Complete 180 on offense? Check. Sanchez looking upfield and confidently finding receivers? Double check! Brady watching helplessly from the sidelines with a look in his eye like Rex was fisting Giselle right in front of him? Triple god damn check. The Jets had their swagger working all game long and #12 could only look on and see his counterpart - Sanchez - take the Jet offense up and down the field. This quote by Brady summed up the matchup pretty clearly: "I wasn't really paying attention to Mark."   Oh yeah Tom? We're you too busy giving reach arounds to Welker the entire time on the sidelines? Because all I saw was my Sanchize, I mean, franchise quarterback march his offense up the field while you had the look on your face like Justin Bieber didn't invite you to his sweet 16.

Game Notables:
 * How about TE Dustin Keller looking like a young Antonio Gates for Sanchize? Big, strong, and fast end who runs good routes and isn't afraid of running over the middle of the field. Seemed to always be in the middle of a big play.
* Cromartie looked like a different guy in the second half. Tight coverage on Moss was crucial and Cromatie didn't shy from the challenge. Still can't stop myself from cracking up over the fact that he has an entire army of bastard children every time I see his smug grin.
* Thought LT was done? Think again brohan. Dude was running with conviction. Hit the hole hard EVERYTIME, and he can still break an ankle or two. Just ask the Pats linebackers.

Cannot wait for week 3 in Miami. They look good, and may be for real. Home of the Jets baby.
