Tampa Pride Still Flowing Through My Veins: Garza pitches no-no!

Matthew Scott Garza of the Tampa Bay Rays threw a beauty of a game as the Rays finally got their first no hitter in franchise history rather than having themselves no hit once again. It wasn't one of those ugly no hitters either as Garza only walked one early in the outing, while striking out 6 and only needing 120 pitches to achieve the historic feat.

We love our pitching here at The SportsBrahs so when no hitters are tossed, we must address them. Plus, I still got love for my Tampons so I gotta throw out my own respect. You know the Rays fans are loving this and so they should. After being no hit 3 times in the last 12 months, it is finally they who get the last laugh and shame a team with the dubious honor of being no hit. Anyone else find it funny that Armando Galarraga was sitting in the away teams' dugout having to watch Garza get credit for a game that Galarraga obviously one-upped a few months back with his not-so perfect game? I do. Just imagine how he felt after the final out and Ray celebration; must have been just another kick to the ol' bean bag.

Another thing, there is always that one sick play that saves the no hit bid and Zobrist's catch was the ill tits. Its just another example of a bro helping a bro out, a BroJOB if you will.

Lastly, the Padres and...you guessed it THE METS are the only teams in the MLB not to have thrown a no hitter in their franchise history. ESPN always has to throw those damn stats out there, reminding me and my fellow Mets fans that misery is synonymous with Met baseball. Tom Seaver lost 3 no-hitters in the 9th for god sake!! Padres will throw theirs tonight and the next expansion team will throw one before the Mets do. FML

P.S. - Shout out to Miguel Garcia, avid SportsBrah follower and Tampa Bay Rays fan, enjoy experiencing history brah.
