The Sorkin Notes: Bengals sign on to Team Obliterate
After Dbl-A got all up in arms this morning about the possibility of Terrel Owens having a potential landing spot with the New York Jets, he forgot to mention the hot buzz that the Cincinatti Bengals were also looking into the Team Obliterator. Well fear no more Jet fans as the cancer known as T.O. will not be suiting up in Gang Green.
Owens has decided to join fellow loud mouth Chad Ochocinco and sign with the Bengals, accepting a 1 year deal worth $2 million with the possibility of earning another 2 milli in incentives.
Jets' didn't need him. Bengals did. I like the signing for them as Carson Palmer's cannon arm is gonna enjoy going deep with his number 1 and 2 wide outs. Its going to be hard for defenses to lock down both of these guys, which should also pay great dividends for their running game. Carson Palmer has had success dealing with Ochocinco's loud mouth so I'm sure Palmer realizes the pros outweigh the cons with the Owens signing.
One thing is for certain though, Cincinnati is gonna have the worst case of verbal diarrhea you Eh-Eh-EVVER DONE SEE.
